SN or hanging

Hello everyone, I wanted to order SN the other day, but my family will ask me unnecessary questions, I have reread a hundred farewell topics with SN, this is a relatively peaceful method, but what if I can't use it, is complete hanging a good alternative? Will it really hurt? It seems to me that some kind of pain can be endured if it deprives you of decades of suffering and sends you into a wonderful non-existence. In general, do you think hanging is a good alternative to SN?
BTW if someone failed by complete suspension, please write what did you feel? can be very useful

I cannot comment on SN personally I will not use it because poisons have a higher rate of failure than hanging. I want to ensure i am successful and i am a mecanical engineer, so i can make sure the "rope" (i will not be using rope specifically, but you get what i mean) and the structure i use to secure the rope can both support my weight. As long as those two conditions are met (along with being alone for more than an half an hour) i will die

I don't fancy hanging but massive fan of Jumping. I don't recommend anything by this just that it has always been a viable option for me but requires a huge amount of counter SI processing to make the leap

I am also concerned about the reliability of poisons, there are too many failures with SN, people panic and call an ambulance while you are hanging, you have already pushed off from the surface, and nothing will save you

the only way to have a successful suicide in my opinion is to make sure your survival instinct don't get in the way.

For me, hanging (mostly partial) is the ideal method for me. I really think when people choose hanging, they just have to learn how to do it right. So I just refer to the resources page, practice/self demonstrate, and prepare. I don't have enough money for SN, so it's a no for me.

Any pointers you can give on hanging as an engineer?? Would love to hear thoughts. What are you using if not rope if it's ok to ask?

I'm leaning towards using one of my martial arts sashes in place of rope, but i also have not finalized this as of now. (i am still a few years away from CTB as there are things i unfortunately have to do before committing the act) you need something strong and sturdy enough, make sure the material isn't too padded that it won't compress properly, but make sure it's comfortable enough to where your not overly suffering while committing the act. a martial arts sash will seem to do the trick here. When it comes to the object that your hanging from you are going to need something that can support your body weight, to ensure this you can get your material, and tie a crap ton of weights to it. I'm a fairly big guy so i will probably do around 450-600lbs around 3X my own body weight to make sure me thrashing will not collapse the structure of the thing i hang myself on. (which i might just end up building myself) then you just need to ensure that nobody will come around, so i will say I'm going on a hunting trip and will be out of cell range when i do this, because i take a snowmobile my car is normally left behind as well, so no need to hide my car. People will ask if i have so many firearms and go on hunting trips why not just shoot myself? Survival instincts I'm more likely to flinch before i shoot myself and i will end up fucked up for the rest of my life whih i will avoid at any cost.

Thank you! I have climbing rope and a beam in the garage. That's my plan. I do wish I had access to firearms though. Then it's be fun in the ocean for me.
