Bit peeved. Ordered SN in Poland to be delivered in Ireland. Shipped with TNT.
The darned thing is stuck on a ''dangerous goods'' hold in the Netherlands.
With a bit of luck it gets sorted without customs/garda getting involved. It would be a rather awkward conversation with them.

You bought it from a legitimate chemicals company right? They probably ship out a ton of stuff, much of which are actual dangerous goods i.e harmful chemicals, and now your package is in a standard delivery stage for processing of such goods. They probably have it boxed in packaging all marked over with "WARNING CONTENTS MAY BE HAZARDOUS" too. Just wait and it will be fine.

I did, from a laboratory supplier. They sell all sorts of interesting stuff.
Funny though. When i ordered 1L 98% sulfuric acid in the UK a few years ago they shipped in a regular cardboard box, with formic acid in the same box.
Now THAT would have been quite dangerous if dropped

Mine is here in country already. But for the last two days it says it's been in my town but is still "Out for delivery".

500g is a large size i bet thats what got it looked at. It seems the ones available for sale here in US are like 100g and then a larger size. Maybe those azzholes are worried were trying to sell it for profit

Didn't do anything.
Delivery services in Ireland are overloaded atm. Anything that doesn't have a guaranteed delivery date gets delivered at some point, eventually

The backlog here in the US for the SN off of a popular site was about ten days. but this is probably typical due to holiday times ,I suspect the delivery workers must be even more overloaded this year than usual due to all the sitting inside
