SN on airplane in luggage

I just bought SN in an european country but I have to take it with me back to Belgium (also Europe).

The bag I bought is 1 kg, the customs are going to find it? It's a lot! The packaging is good though (special from a chemical manifacturer).
I'm now in a hostel. I'm a afraid that if I transfer let's say 200 g into a tupperware that I brought with me, that I will spill and more important: What do I do with the remaining stuff! It's hazardous and I don't want to put someone else at risk. I can't just throw it in a public bin!

Someone that can help me with some ideas?

They will find it and you will have a whole bunch of awkward questions to answer so id probably be getting a very convincing story in your mind . I would never even take the risk. I think you'll regret it, especially as SN is widely in the media right now.

Don't take it on the plane. Checked luggage should be fine after all it's a legal substance there isn't it? Can't you say you use it to cure meats

So you say I can put it in my checked luggage? Of course I will say it's for curing meat. But even in checked luggage I think chemicals are not allowed?
And also the whole 1 kg?

I just found this on the website of the airline i'm flying with.. I really don't want them to confiscate it

Edit: You can divide the 1kg in smaller packages.

I'm going to try to send a package to myself with DHL from the European country I'm currently in to Belgium. I hope the package does arrive accordingly. I was actually supposed to receive my SN from MDS (Ukraine) on Tuesday. I even got a confirmation email from the post company that my package arrived around noon but there was nothing in my mailbox.. Weird. I asked my neighbors if they got my package.. nothing..

I can't get myself to sit on a bus for 27 hours because I get carsick and I don't want to waste my expensive plane ticket.

If this package doesn't arrive this time then it means I'm doomed forever.

Taking SN with me on my flight wether it is checked-in luggage or carry-on seems like a bad idea.

But companies like DHL also ship with planes? Is the security of those kind of cargo planes less strict than airport luggage security?

get an airtight container and put what you'll need into it (not too large). do it quickly as exposure to air will turn it into nitrate. the rest, you can expose it to air then flush it or chuck it into a bin. don't put what you're taking home in your carry on and you should be fine.

That's why I would divide 1kg in smaller packages and don't send them all in one day. You'll be sending them from a country within the EU, right? Customs probably won't check them then.

Just have it shipped to yourself. I would've done that anyway, even if I was travelling (back) with a Flixbus. My luggage just got checked in the past too many times even within Europe. Should still be alright then, but it could be a bit awkward.

Sending it to yourself shouldn't be any problem with DHL. If I'm right about your source, they use DPD to ship when ordered online.

I wasn't a big fan of ordering 1kg and they were kind of slow in responding, so ordered elsewhere. Now it's apparently out of stock.

I'd highly suggest just pour a portion of it in a container so it may just look like salt/spices and then throw the rest away.

I wouldn't take it to the plane, you might end up in psych ward because of it since SN has become well known and "popular" now.
1 kg is overkill tho

Guys you are all over thinking this. I've been to several countries with my SN in the bag still and showing the white. This is checked bags mind you. No need to spread fear, They are looking for powder bags, they are looking for big hits as in Bars etc of other illegal drugs.

Remember checked bags, not carry on as the carry-bags they will search and take away.

Just curious: why are you traveling all over the world with SN on you? Which countries? I can't imagine customs being the same everywhere.
