SN not legal to buy in my country?

Ok I'm having a little issue with choice of words. I spoke to chemical inspections in my country and they informed me it is "forbidden" to buy SN as an individual. However, I have not been able to get more information on its status here which means I don't know if forbidden translates to illegal, as in having legal repercussions or if it's more that it is simply unavailable to me.

Thoughts? I am leaning toward the first definition but as I said I haven't been able to find out more concrete info. This is obviously placing a big question mark around my decision if it's worth trying to get it here by mail.

From what you say it sounds like you might have to be registered as a company purchase it? But don't know whant country you are in so can't say for sure.

Don't know the specifics of your situation, but SN is currently legal in most places, to the best of my knowledge.
It's used in food preparation.
Perhaps you could order online, eg ebay, etc.

But please double check for yourself of course since you are responsible for any risks you might take.

Certain sellers will require certain proofs....
So you just need to locate a seller that doesn't ask for those proofs.

Why not look online, eg ebay, etc....
