Thanks! I've read the thread and stans guide. But seeking people who have tried and their experiences afterwards.I have not, but if you use the search function you should be able to find what you are looking for.
Thank you!Yes, here is what i wrote about it, and no lingering issues, at least none that I could notice.
If you look in the resources section, there is a SN success/failures section to view. Thanks! I've read the thread and stans guide. But seeking people who have tried and their experiences afterwards.
Thank you!
Please don't do that on account of my question. Just looking for those who have ALREADY tried, def not trying to encourage a volunteer trial. Def not.Well, I suppose I could always drink a glass tonight. If I survive, I'll let you know what happened.
If not--i'll STILL be sure you know...
I guess you missed that bottom part. It was only a jest. Please don't do that on account of my question. Just looking for those who have ALREADY tried, def not trying to encourage a volunteer trial. Def not.

@Quarky00 I think the failed cases link should be http://njya.nfshost.com/sssnfail.html and not http://njya.nfshost.com/sssnsucc.html.
I joined this site very recently, and I lurked for a while before then.
What exactly is sodium nitrite? (SN) How does it work? What's the chemical principal behind it? I recently read that the Russian Empire used to have a similar execution method: a condemned criminal was forced to eat a big bag of salt. Plain old cooking salt, which is sodium chloride, not sodium nitrite. The principle behind it was to saturate the body with salt, to result in dehydration and poisoning. (It was later superseded with gallows and the chopping axe.)
So how is SN different than plain old salt? Is it less painful to eat? Does it work less painfully after ingestion?
Is half your SN gone?
This is a really good concise outline of the procedure. I wish it was in text!View attachment 33114
This is my guide, or "William's Guide", if you will.
