SN Liquid Volume Testing Precision

I'm looking into testing my SN, and I see you need to have two 1 L bottles.

The guides suggest a scale that can measure to within .1g of accuracy.

How important is the accuracy of measuring the volume of water? Do we need to get like some lab grade beaker or something?
