As for the date, I will echo the comments above that it is strictly a you decision. As far as platform, obviously it will be against TOS of pretty much any mainstream platform I know of. That being said, they aren't exactly known for reacting quickly so you could probably get away with it on Twitch or Discord till they received a complaint for breach of TOS. However, it would likely be after the fact and would be pretty irrelevant to be banned from a platform after CTB as the stream would be out there and could be copied before the VOD likely would be taken down. There are no doubt other options, but these are the 2 I'm most familiar with and setup for both is amazingly easy, and having watched Twitch for ages I know they are notoriously slow to react to much of anything short of a massive report to bring their attention to it.

Pain isn't always visible from the outside...
Based on many posts SN is painless some of the time and painful some of the time, so even if your ctb appears painless this wouldn't change what has been posted by so many other people.
I's be fascinated to what someone live stream SN or N but honestly could make my peace with encouraging it. Its not necessarily wrong to stream it (with the right precautions made) because it documents a very significant event and is useful. It's not something you can really involve anyone else in though because the legal ramifications are too high. Not to mention the impact it can have on them emotionally. I think back the Randy and Schlevan doing it and their thread being manned by another member. It was pretty apparent that member found found themselves out of their depths as the thread died an early death. I didn't see the stream or know if it even went ahead. I just remember everyone demanding updates like they were owed it. It was quite distasteful and unfair. The thread fid eventually get updated and they appeared to have passed peacefully (N) but I don't recall seeing much of the onlooker since then.
Certain goodbye threads, such as @Cheers, seem to show differently- she posted every few minutes up until the end, so it varies by the case. She was diligent in following the protocol as much as she could, though she didn't have meto.
Personally. Based on its mode of action and the goodbye threads I've seen I can't say I think SN is painless or peaceful. Its just cheap, reliable (done 'right') and pretty quick.

No2 ions, methomoglobenimia and i are old friends. Yes it can cause mild stomach upset and a slight to modearate headache, but honrstly nothing worse than you might get from drinking hard liqour. It's literally no worse than getting shit faced on cheap vodka.

You could do Zoom and post the invite link wherever you intend to post it. Nobody's monitoring zoom calls (as they do on twitch, YouTube, etc) and you could arrange for someone to screen record it.
