Sn is clumped

Gonna be that annoying person who asks a probably redundant Sn question. My sn is clumped up. Is this because of exposure to moisture or is it ok? I’ve heard some mixed reviews of the HM brand. I can’t get the Lw brand because my family will ask what it is. I only got the HM brand because it was sent to a big river locker. Will test with blood but I’m so worried it won’t be pure and then I’ll be stuck.

i cant say if its still good, id advise doing one of the tests, but yes, its a salt and just like table salt the same reaction would occur when theres moisture.

Clumping is normal, even if it’s brand new it can be clumpy. How long has yours been open and did you store it well? SN lasts a pretty long time even if it’s opened

Clumping and yellowing is normal as long as there is no signs of moisture.

SN with a high purity is gonna start clumbing. That's totally normal.

Clumping is normal. All it means is your SN does not contain added anti-caking agents.

You shouldnt be worried. My SN was like this when it arrived and it was still good.

so relieved to find this thread. i have worried mine clumped and that it meant it wouldn't work. it has never been opened.
