Sn chronicles: parcels are arriving. Water amount question

So, I ordered a measuring cup so I don't overdo the amount of water in the cup. I plan to prep two glasses with 25g sn and 50ml of H2O.

Looking at the glass, 50 milliliters seems like an extremely low amount of water. Is it really only 50ml? Does the glass look too small or is it just me?

It's hard to get a perspective from the picture. 50ml isn't that much, so glass doesn't look too small. I think the amount of water is calculated (maybe) as minimum needed to reduce vomit chances. If that's what the guide says to use, I'd stick with it.

I thought the same thing, that 50mL isn't a lot. I'm sure that's what makes the taste so incredibly strong, but it really isn't a lot of liquid to ingest at all

I just wish I could drink something after... I know I'm going to puke it up. Which is why I will have a second glass ready, that'll probably puke up as well. Hopefully enough will seep in to kill me. There is no going back. No life, nothing. I need this to work

I feel your pain. Same here. When I go, I MUST have my method succeed. Must be a one and done deal.

Can you do any searches to find out why 50 ml is all the water they recommend using? And what may happen if you use more water?

I also measured 50 mls of water to help visualize it in my head and was surprised at how little it actually was. I don't recall the PPH explaining why the amount of water is basically equivalent to just one gulp, but I'm not complaining.

Less than I thought but easier to swallow faster. What if there is a lot at the bottom? We should drink while the water still turns after mixing?

have you considered anti emetics? PPH and Stan's guide both recommend dopamine antagonists for this

I'll take 20 mg domperidone 1 hour before SN. in the USA, you can get metoclopramide

I wonder if it's okay to suck on some kind of lozenge after taking the SN? Just to get rid of the taste and have something to focus on to help prevent vomiting? When I was a kid I always used to get car sick in my grandmother's thunderbird. She would always have tic tacs or live savers on hand and sucking on them would keep me from puking. I know it's not the same scenario but maybe it would be helpful.

on stans guide to sn it says some people like to gargle mouth wash before or after taking sn to get rid of the taste. though thats all i would recommend doing

I disagree. Besides helping getting rid of the salty taste I think sucking on a mint or cough drop will help keep things going in the right direction. If you've ever drank till you have the mouth sweets doing the same thing can temporarily prevent the urge to vomit. Even a slight delay might be the difference. It's part of my plan.
