SN availability in US

Is SN still available in retails stores in the states, or at butcher shops under the premise of using it for meat curing?

I know it is pretty much impossible to buy in person in Canada and I might be able to make a last minute trip cross the michigan border so wondering if it would be worth it.

Any knowledge on this would be much appreicated as I would have to do this today as early as possible

I never saw pure SN in retail. Salt n cure has some SN in it but not much and thats what you're likely to find in a store.

Wasn't too sure because I remembered users saying they got sodium nitrite at walmart of all places so wasn't sure if similar stores had them in Michigan

I think....would be happy to be proven wrong....that a poster or some posters saw a product(s) containing small amounts of SN at Walmart, posted without follow ups and that became a "thing."

Walmart online carries it. It is available (at least last time I checked, which was a week or so ago)

The preferred brands will be like 99% SN either reagent or food grade. I wonder where Walmart keeps it in-store?

I tried calling a few by the border and no luck
When they came back and said they don't have in store I asked if they knew any where close by that would and one guy in the back ground audibly asked concerned "What is he using it for?" Said meat curing then they just put me on hold and I hung up after 3 minutes like that

Well I mean I wanted to try just in case I could go with a more peaceful method, the one everyone talks so highly about but hey, gotta do what we gotta do I guess

Not sure about offline, but it is very accessible online. People have purchased it from Amazon, etc. I got mine from a laboratory website, 99.6% pure. Got it in a few days, if you want the info you can message me.
