Help (SN Aquarium Test) Can anyone tell me if my SN is pure based off my test strip?

Received my SN in the mail yesterday and did an aquarium test immediately after. Can anyone who knows about this stuff please tell me if my SN is pure after looking at my test?
Nitrate is the one under the blue one and Nitrite is the one just beneath. One thing I feel I should note is that it sort of took me a while to get the SN in the cup and start mixing it after I had poured a small portion out of the container for the test, maybe 2 minutes or so. Had issues weighing it. Thanks.

Testing my SN using the aquarium testing strips

I received the 2nd SN bottle today, because I ordered SN from 2 different sellers. So, this is the second time testing the SN using the aquarium testing strips, and decided to document and share the test results this time. I understand that the test is not highly accurate. But, I'm satisfied...

I am not sure honestly, i only know the Info from the guide. Sorry.

I received my testing kits today. I could Test mine to compare results but im a bit afraid to pre-open my SN because i only ordered it once.

Maybe someone else will know more.

2nd is the one after you place a few ml from the first cup to the 2nd cup(should be the one to judge if sn is pure enough(i can't tell tho)

Frankly this one got me confused as the what was supposed to be sn turned orange.

On your third picture the SN Strip looks great. Great color value for NaNO2 and the NaNO3 is nearly faded. But on the fresh picture Nano3 also has quite some color to it. Weird. Really not sure if that is normal.

If you used the measurements from the posted test, we do aim for the 10 value which is that darker pink in the 3rd row. Yours looks exactly like that.

I just assume that, aslong as the NaNO2 part is blasting correctly its gonna be fine. So both tests from you guys look fine to me. But i am not an Expert.

How long did you wait until you took the pictures? I assume your last pic was the one taken at the end? Maybe thats why the result is better.

My Box says to wait atleast 60seconds for best results with nitrite/nitrate

30 Seconds. That's what my Aq test says for testing nitrite.

heres mine.

My Nitrate value (First row) looks different compared to yours. Its close to be gray (0) i think. Weird x.x

My nitrite (2nd row) looks a little too Bright. More like a 5 instead of a 10. Not too sure. I will do another Test tomorrow, something came up. Not 100% sure if i used enough SN. Fat fingers and careful gram weighting are not real friends.

Its normal for nitrate to show up in the test results since the test strips use the same reaction for both. If you have a high level of nitrites it will also test positive for nitrates. The chemistry is a bit confusing but I have an old post about it where I got an explanation from the test strip manufacturer about it

I am gonna be super careful tomorrow and triple check that everything is correctly measured when testing. Not happy with my results if what you say is correct @.@ But better to get disappointed early instead of the CTB day i guess.

Other than the last picture, both control and the results where taken at most 30 seconds after the 60 second wait period.
Yours seem closer to 5.

Yeah. Ot already takes a lot of courage to go thru with it. And the disappointment would hit hard if i wake up after taking it.

Are you sure? My test looks pretty similar to yours. I'll pm you my source anyway but I can't exactly tell the difference between yours and mine.

I'm looking at it and comparing it to the picture i have. We have the same color. Maybe it's just the label on the test kit you have is so vivid? Anyway gonna om you my source
Also you could test it with another tester, the liquid one, would go for that but we don't seem to have it in my countrys market

Yea ill get different tester kit first before getting SN from another seller. Thats cheaper and less stressful. I am in denial. Trying to be super sure this time for this CTB attempt. I dont Think i can handle another failed attempt in my life.

I think failing in ctb is pretty hard for most of us here. It terrified us more since we pretty much know the consequences of failure in our daily lives.

No luck for me so far. I tested 3 different brands from the same Website, tested each with 3 different Aquarium kits. Either im testing wrong (because i always used the same weight values) or the supplier wasnt good.

Its still an up to date issue for me.

I did get a different source linked, where i did place my order just yesterday. Its probably gonna take a week to arrive (if my order doesnt get canceled due to being a private person (which happened before)).

This will be my last order as my mental issues are getting worse and i cant take it anymore. I have no time pressure but its getting really really bad mentally.

If i get Bad results or a canceled order again, i will just use the (probably) Bad SN that i already have and just go for it.

So unfortunately i cant guide you in any direction. I dont want to give anyone false hopes and ending up with bad SN and a horrible CTB attempt.

I am very sorry.
