I ordered 100g of SN from Malaysia. On the website it's written "Sodium Nitrite NaNO2 99% - Curing Salt ingredient/food grade". Is that it or it shouldn't be food grade?

As far as I understand it, Food grade simply means that nothing toxic is mixed with it. So if it is 99% NaNO2 it should be perfectly fine.

Not me, but it seems to me that it's the real stuff! More because they also sell Sodium Nitrate and it comes with full documentation.

It sounds like most people are buying from what I assume is tig which makes me more confident it's authentic

From what I've read food grade should be fine as long as it is above 95%

Is that a website or user?

I know this is an old thread, but I'm looking at this source right now and I'd like to know if this was legit. I saw a review on the site that said they heard their SN is actually only 3-6% nitrite and the rest is another sodium product.

I'm really stressed out trying to source this stuff so I would be extremely grateful any help.
