I was nearly killed by a shitty dr prescribing shitty meds, I only sleep three hours a night and I'm starting to really get sick from this. I barely have any energy but I need energy to end my life, I feel just lost

I am dealing with the same thing, minus the meds. Always feel tired but only sleep very little amounts and can't even do much while awake.

Welcome to the club you have my sympathy. I get about one hour a night in 15min bursts if I'm lucky.

Yep, lack of sleep is tough. When I lay down, it sets off my vertigo/vestibular problems, and I can't sleep sitting up. Can't remember the last time I felt rested.

Try Anise seeds, boil a teaspoon, add honey if you wish, and get big warm mug before bedtime.

Out of curiosity do you experience the same problems if you are in a semi-reclined state? (recliner or cushions /pillows under the mattress)
I too have suffered from insomnia. I was on triazolam, ativan, zolpidem. Funnily enough the one thing that actually helps is Tizanidine (muscle relaxers) which was prescribed for my migraines. Works well enough for sleep but can't take them for the migraines when I have to remain awake.

I'm fairly good semi reclined, in terms of vertigo. But man, I just can't sleep on my back! I'm most comfortable stretched out on my stomach. So I do that for a few hours each night to try to catch a few z's. On bad nights though, I'm waking up every 10 minutes or so, or worse, wake up really nauseous.

Hi, one of the meds was doxepin which my dr added lithium. He added lithium to supposedly make the doxepin work better and I was taking some natural supplements which he approved but later found out all of it had a potential serious reaction

I know what you mean about sleep. I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome which is the highest ranking pain condition in medical history. So I sleep whenever I can. Sometimes I'll be up for three days at a time and my body just crashes. Sometimes I'll fall asleep but the anxiety I have actually wakes me up. Ask for Xanax if you can get them. Tell the doctor you're very stressed with anxiety. And if you mix them with Benadryl you should sleep for a little bit.

After 2years of insomnia it has changed my perception of things. I'm hyper aware, strangely not sleepy though I am exhausted and seem to be able to process thoughts much faster.

I've tried a lot to help me sleep, nothing seems to work. Benzos, muscle relaxers, booze, exercise, different antidepressants with a sedating side effect, even bought a 100 dollar weighted blanket.

Given up at this point. I was so sleep deprived I would have panic attacks on the way to work because I couldn't drive straight.

I was addicted to benzos, quit cold turkey, almost died, felt restlessness for almost half a year pacing up and down my appartment even at night, eventually became okay. I have no advice, but I really feel for you. Lack of sleep is its very own kind of hell on earth.
