• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

only slaves would make themselves so powerless and helpless in such a deadly environment
especially because at any moment life can come crashing down around us anything could happen to
you, you could be in a constant state of mental and physical torture and you'd be powerless to do anything to stop it
because the goverment has denied our brithright to self autonomy and restricted every peaceful method to end your suffering

Think about slavery. We all are slaves to our government. The government tells industry if and what they can do/build and forces a tax burden on them for building and providing jobs to us. Then they tell us, the slaves, we can work for those industries but we must pay the government money (taxes).

In reality we are all slaves to the government paying them for the privilege to work or build. We work just so we can buy our necessities and feel good about ourselves.

If we choose not to work, the government then taxes the slaves who work so that the government can use it to give to those who choose not to work? This so all slaves can buy necessities.

A slave I am! I am so damn tired of a corrupt government that only wants to preserve their own individual privileged entitlement and, might I say, is a larger payout to them than we the people extract.

I personally reject to work in a 9-5 slavery just to keep me alive. CTB is the only option in the this case for me.

We are slaves- certainly. Not exactly something we chose though. We're born into the system. I guess there still are choices to be made. Not all people qualify for benefits though- it's not just a case of choosing not to work and being supported for a lot of people. For those who don't qualify- it's work or be homeless. People are forced to choose the lesser of the evils a lot of the time.

But yeah- we're slaves. Given our frail biological states though- what system would you have in its place? How would it work without some form of give and take? If no one had to work- who would feed us? Who would tend to our injuries? Who would put out fires? Do you think going back to basics would REALLY be any better? Could you survive in the wild? Could any of us survive without the support of others? Some toughened bushcraft people probably could. Some people would chip in too- lending what skills they had. Others would refuse to lift a finger though. Would they still be taken care of in this 'new' world? Should they?

Unless you are utterly self sufficient, most humans rely on other humans to some extent. It's just that it's become such a monstrous Capitalist/ Consummerist machine that we don't really have that sense of community anymore. Worse- we feel resentful at having to support people we don't know and may not actually want to support! We are really just groups of people forced to co-exist yet we are so divided now that it DOES feel like an oppresive, manipulative, exploitative system- because it is ultimately- with the massive discrepancies in wealth and decisions being made by the rich to benefit the rich.

i really hate the self sufficiency=survive alone in the wild argument.
like yea couple people can do that because they're into that kind of thing but most of us can't. therefore we have to rely on society to exist and it always treats us like shit in exchange.
