Skydive? I'm thinking of skydiving and throwing it out. I read that the body will fly at a speed of 50 meters per second, that is, from a height of 1 km in 20 seconds, and 4 km in a minute and a half. You don't have to throw out the parachute, but if you do, you won't become disabled if you manage to open the parachute in the end but crash into the ground. Maybe I'm not imagining it correctly, in my opinion it should be fast. Will there be pain during the flight itself?

Have you been skydiving before? You usually have dive tandem (strapped to an instructor) a few times before they let you go alone.

I was thinking about the same thing. There's an airport nearby that offers skydiving lessons. Interestingly enough, I actually want to do skydiving. It would be nice to take lessons, go skydiving. And then maybe do the deed on the last day. I've talked about paragliding already in another thread and about how I could just let go of the paraglider and jump down at 30,000 feet. They're legal too. No issue riding them around. They go to crazy heights.

By the way, a lady just did this recently.

Hope they don't check your psyche or its history before letting you go, though...

No. So you'll have to do a few jumps with an instructor.

That would be EXTREMELY unlikely. The chances of going kilometers of free fall, with wind blowing throwing off your direction, and hitting another person seem astoundingly low.

Sorry for the English, I use a translator, maybe the meaning is a little distorted, but I hope you will understand. I read an article from 800 meters, they say you can jump after a 4-hour briefing. But here you may not have time to disconnect everything, you will have to do it on the plane, I don't know if it can be done unnoticed. If you don't make it, then it seems that the parachute has an automatic opening, because of the fuss, you can land incorrectly and become disabled. I don't even know. Or it's only on the plane itself that you have time to unify everything, there are so many connecting bundles, you can jump several times before that. It seems like it should be painless, because you'll hit it with all your might instantly, and there won't be anything left of your brain, especially if you're flying headfirst. Or maybe it's better to take a flying train headfirst.

Most skydiving places make you jump attached to an instructor or right next to an instructor the entire way down. They will even pull the chute for you if you do not do it for yourself. They do not want a lawsuit on their hands. I looked into this too but all of my local places are annoyingly safe.

Oh, I thought relief would come soon. I'll try, but if you learn to open a parachute in free fall from 4 km, then you can make it, some people jump by unbuckling themselves like that, only it's more expensive and takes longer to learn.

A thought crossed me. Maybe Putin is willing to give some cool helicopter rides for you guys. Then not only you can meet mister V.P. himself, but you also get a cool tour of the Muscovite skyline! Now that's going out with style. :sunglasses:
