Method Sitting in a deep freezer?

To my knowledge they are airtight so if you dont die from hypothermia, asphyxiation would do it. I imagine the urge to get out would be immense so I'm thinking benzos + alcohol and any other sedative i have before getting in. NOT ATTEMPTING just looking for feedback

Sounds a bit like the method a friend of mine is going to use....alcohol and benzos and hen go sit on a montain when it's - 20 outside and freeze ! I think it would be more peaceful to freeze than to die of asphyxiation, so maybe you can fix a tube through which you can breathe air from the outside, then just fall asleep inside the freezer with the help of benzos and booze before you start feeling cold. I think after that you probably won't feel a thing. Could be a nice idea !

Hypothermia do sound like a peaceful method. From what I've heard it's quite painless. Maybe a bit uncomfortable at first, also be careful with the survival instincts that could lead you to freak out and open the door of the freezer. So alcohol is magic for such things!
I think to get a good idea of what happen to your body, when hypothermia creeps in, things like "paradoxal undressing" is a good thing to look into.
