Discussion Should I take one final vacation before I CTB?

Just been looking at vacations and dates I was thinking about CTB. Seen a nice place to visit and quite reasonably priced. Should I take a final trip alone before I leave for good?

Yes, go for it :) this is what I've been thinking about doing as well. You got nothing to lose, and our planet is so beautiful with many interesting cities and sights, so if you have the money and mental capacity.. why not

Not that well off but could manage it. I have lots of debt which I'll never be able to pay off. So I guess I could just go! Never been abroad alone before.

I've loved my trips to other countries. Worth it, even if one day I'll be dead and they won't have mattered. For now, they are some of my most pleasant memories.

Go somewhere by the beach, where it's sunny and there's white sand... some place like Panama City Beach in Florida might be nice; rental rates are lower there than comparable beaches, and it's extremely beautiful. I'm not sure if you've ever had the opportunity to rent a condominium by the beach and just spend a few days looking out at it, but it's one of the most serene experiences I can imagine, it almost feels like childhood.

If you're certain you want to CTB adding to your debt won't matter.

Personally I think I'll visit either Capetown or Rome before I die. Both places have meaning for me, for totally different reasons.

if you can, do it.. traveling abroad is a good way to top up your tank so to speak and can allow you to exist for a bit longer. at least thats how i have found it.. i'm also planning on a holiday before my CBT date.. and traveling alone while scary, is also lot of fun, as you can go where ever the hell you want and meet some extortionary people!

My last trip would be to Switzerland. I'm not in that place at the moment but if I get any worse I will pay to enjoy a holiday there and then die in peace. I've stared saving the £8000 I'll need.

Definitely! I have just got back from a weekend away but it was nice to get away and confirm this is what I want whilst seeing something new. Go for it

Yes! If you are inspired to travel, I think you should budget your money and commit to seeing as many destinations as possible before you die. It sounds like you've found something to live for.

I've just taken my last holiday the first 2 weeks of September. It was perfect. Now I'm ready to go.

Hell yes! That is EXACTLY what i'm doing. I'm basically draining my entire bank account and savings, already have a trip planned for Iceland in October, it's been a place I've been wanting to visit for years. At this point the only thing worth while is experiences. Anything materialistic is not worth it and means nothing. Travel! DO IT! Go wherever u wanted to go, try something outrageous, eat all of the delicious food, make temporary friends. JUST DO IT!

The difference with me is that i'm 100% certain about my suicide so even after doing so much travelling i still want to kill myself, nothing will stop me because my brain is super fvcked up lol but i'm going to spend my last 16 months enjoying my time on this earth.

I'm trying to clear as many bucketlist items as possible before i CTB.

Strange that I have a vacation booked and in 2 weeks I'll be there but I'm feeling really anxious and down. Like I really can't face going. Maybe it's a sign that it really is the last vacation for me.

My last vacation is to London and then to East Sussex to finally meet my fate by Beachy Head. I'm still going to enjoy my last moments in London and East Sussex since i've never been to these places so i'll be a proper tourist for a couple of days and then head over to beachy head to jump to my death :)
