Should I record my entire suicide?

I wanna record myself, I wanna record reading my note saying the things I need to say and my doing the action, idk if it right of me to do so, having the police, my family maybe friends see that isn't okay, but I kinda wanna do it. Have one last record of me or just something so I can leave a small mark out there. But it's not gonna be a 5 min video probably like an hour of me talking sitting there and doing it, I won't be able to stop recording so that's probably bad..idk why I'm so worried about this if I'm not even gonna remember it when I'm dead.

I would like to record my ctb too.
I would do it like one guy did once: just stream on a new facebook or twitch account and ask a person to help me remotely so as to stop the transmission once I'm gone.

I would only send the link of the livestream by PM to the people that are interested in watching it and I would ask them not to share my video anywhere but if they still do, I won't care because I won't be part of this world anymore.

However, I would only select those people who have some decent amount of posts, have talked with me at least once and those whose accounts don't look "suspicious".

I personally wouldn't want to do this, but I totally understand why others would. I see my own suicide as a very personal, private act, for my eyes only.

However, I have considered recording a goodbye video for my boyfriend, just reading out everything I want to say to him to give him closure, but I'm undecided because I'm not sure if this would comfort him or haunt him.

I think I would record myself with a message to say before I ctb, not the act though because I wouldn't want that to be the last memory my family have of me. However with the video messages, maybe it would comfort them if I seem content with my choice and they can see that it wasn't an impulsive thing, and I wasn't in an extreme mental/emotional state. That way maybe they would realise that it really is what I wanted.

That's a really personal descision, i personally wouldn't do it as i don't want my last moments spread all over the internet and people talking about it, but if you want to leave the record and it makes you feel comfortable it's totally okay, maybe about stoping the record you could do what @WornOutLife is saying , somebody else that you really trust can be in charge of that in a remote site.

I never really understand this trend, in particular when people livestream this online. I do think recording an message just before the suicide takes place would be an better option as an alternative to an letter.

There used to be a website called BESTGORE which had lots of suicide videos, especially by hanging.
It was really heart-breaking to watch some of them because there were some individuals who ctb in front of their children.
They made me really sad and I wish I hadn't watched them.

I've watched a beheading or two online, if someone gets off on my death who am I to judge?
I like the idea of recording it as a giant fuck you but in the moment as I'm flying in the air I don't think making a 4.5 second Video is going to do justice, I'm just going to go out the way I came in; alone and with no pictures or video... any how.

I wouldn't judge you. This is all our own choices and I think whatever the way as long as we're not physically hurting others while we go, we should do it, no-regrets.

I think emotional damage even for people who are completely alone is unavoidable. Therefore I also choose not to bring my emotions into my decision.

Yes, I agree if you want to have a live stream or have a delayed upload is as much of a right as what method you choose. I am against a Facebook live feed because children or just unsuspecting adults can just stumble across it. It's like you have a right to hang yourself, but not on a kid's swing in a park

Yes, I agree it's personal and is up to the individual. But the idea that it will be spread all over the Internet may not be the case - even if it's possible. There are so many video clips of people CTB, they are not considered that unique anymore. Even gore sites tend to run the same suicide videos over and over again and don't add many new exit videos very often. So unless you are a celebrity or do something really outrageous that gives you some notoriety you may find that no one actually sees your exit video. Gores sites may not even be interested

I know it sounds strange, but if you really want to get your exit video on the Internet, you have to promote it - which is really a strange idea to get around your head - promoting your own death.
