Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I went ahead and ordered "aquarium test strips" for testing SN, as is recommended in Vizzy's SN Bible and other guides on the forum.

I've noticed that some people doubt the reliability of of strip tests in accurately measuring SN purity, so I'm wondering if I should get a second kind as well to be certain.

The other kind seems to be "reagent" tests (if I'm not mistaken?), and I've seen people saying that these are more reliable than strip tests.
How would I go about finding/identifying one of these? Any recommendations?

I'm not able to do a blood test cause I get queasy unfortunately. Idk if you got your sn from the same source as me, but if you did maybe you could share the results of yours? I like having as many layers of certainty as possible but I can't do blood.

PM me! Also, I'm thinking of ordering glucose blood tests as for some odd reason, I believe it could help. Ialso relate... but not so much. I just hate feeling my veins and nerves and feeling that stuff... I rather not stab myself again either...

Yes me too. I'd love to know your reagent test results if your sn is from the same source as well.

I'm so glad you guys are doing this I was trying to find infor on how to test mine when I get it. I wasn't sure if the aquarium strips would be sufficient or if a reagent test much more expensive would be necessary. I also don't really understand what should the readings be if it's pure?

I just wanted to remark that all guides I have seen on this site that use aquarium nitrite strips are missing a crucial consideration: test strips measure nitrite ions, not sodium nitrite. Check out this post for an explanation and a simple way to do the strip test correctly.

If you can test the SN with other methods as well, I would recommend it.
