Shotgun to head + jumping

I have acess to a 12 gauge shotgun and there is a hotel nearby with 18 floors and openable windows/balcony. I'm thinking of combining a headshot with the shotgun with the fall - however, I am unsure how to go about this. Maybe rent a room, sit in the window sill/railing with my back to the abyss and shoot myself in the mouth hoping to hit the midbrain. However, I am wondering if the shot would be powerful enough to bring me over the edge?

Imo chances are high that you will be pushed over the edge but it's also time critical!

I'm pretty sure, if people see someone sitting there at the edge of the window//balcony they most likely will inform hotel security.

I wouldn't underestimate the cruelty of a gun shot - it's probably not that easy to pull the trigger. Just my thoughts.

if you have a shotgun, there is no need to combine it with other method. Especially trying to balance on edge of a window or balcony.
Just blast the shotgun into your mouth - literally ZERO percent chance of you surviving, even for a short time. Your whole head will disintegrate, and brainstem would be in small bits and pieces all over the room walls and ceiling.

It should be more than enough as long as you are aiming upwards.
