Discussion shooters, terrorists, and people who kill others because of their own suicide

This is a fucked up topic, but I just want to say: to people who feel the need to kill innocent people before you take your life should not be welcome here. Suicide should be a freedom, a choice. Forcing others to die is just as bad as forcing us to live. So many people who are suicidal shoot up innocent people in the hopes the cops will kill them, or to show vengence before taking their life. It is absolutely disgusting. Killing yourself is a freedom, the whole point is that YOU get to choose. Killing others who didnt choose is wrong. I will stand by that.
Leave it at killing yourself, catching your own bus, if you want to catch the bus, dont run everyone over with said bus. I cannot empathize with people like that

i got screwed over at home, at school, at work, at the hospital, by the cops.. ya know people whos entire job it is to look out for others (work not as much as the others, but it is the employers job to ensure a safe work environment so they still count)
idk... i think its kinda deserved..

even if others deserve it, fighting fire with fire doesnt make you the better person. Dont shoot up groups of people because one guy in that group did something yk? its gross and wrong. Just like you not wanting people to hurt you, by hurting others you are no longer the victim.

I understand that. I just cant sympathize with that. Especially school shooters, many school shooters shoot up schools full of children, that they may not even have attended. Which is unfair to them, as the kids didnt do anything, and is so many levels of fucked yk?

i agree, and maybe ive just been hurt too much...but theyre just gonna grow up into problem adults if theyre not already problem children, i mean..youre capable of bullying at any age

Anyways what I find facinating about murder-suicide is specifically when someone in a family snaps and kills everyone in it including themselves. From a utilitarianist perspective this might be the best thing to happen because no one will be left to greive or suffer a loss as a result of killing loved ones before killing oneself.

maybe so, but again, so many people commit homicides on people who dont even know them, even children. Which is so unfair and gross. I do understand where youre coming from tho, and that take makes sense. There is a big moral dilemma

I don't condone it. I don't approve. But I can understand why it happens. The society we've built creates the people that do that. If we want that to stop happening, society has to change, drastically. But society is not interested in change, and resists it at every turn. So it will never stop. You're best bet is to either not think about it. Or actively desensitize yourself to it.

Look, I find the idea that some people here could end up committing murder-suicide uncomfortable, especially in cases that could escalate into school shootings, parties, etc. There are cases where parents kill their children before committing suicide. It seems more logical than the previous case, but it still ends up sounding very painful. It might be my problem, but I don't understand anyone who says the shooters are just acting in the middle of a fucked up system. They often kill people who cannot even identify with their traumas. Still, not a day goes by without me dreaming about killing the person who raped me when I was still a teenager... yes, life can be shit and we don't always get help when we need it, yes, I still feel destabilized alone to smell the perfume he used, which caused me more problems than I would like to admit, as it is a popular brand. Taking advantage of the outburst, I think that if I had the opportunity I would kill him, but I wouldn't commit suicide... I could end up handing myself over to the police, then my problem would only increase...
