ssris are one of the worst things to overdose on they're extremely unlikely to kill you (otherwise it wouldnt be perscribed for depression lmao) but will probably not be a fun time

I've heard some pretty bad horror stories about sertraline overdoses. I was on 200mg for quite some time. The only med I was prescribed that might've actually gotten close to killing me would've been venlaflaxine purely because I was on a ridiculous dose. Other than that I wouldn't try with psych meds.

Setraline would cause you insomnia, trust me and would give you tinnitus, you don't want those two things, please don't do it.

insomnia is hell but tbh tinnitus isn't that bad i randomly kinda developed it (coincidentally around the time i started heavily restricting my food intake 🤔) and honestly im used to it now. sometimes it gets louder or becomes pulsatile or whatever but like thats more bad because it kinda scares me but otherwise idk i've kinda gotten used to the crickets screaming into my ears.
absolutely 100% fuck insomnia though actually hell, i can't get to sleep without sleep meds (which is even worse cus the sleep meds i have are promethazine which is terrible long term) and even when i do i wake up usually atleast once a night so i dont even feel rested and even if i dont the daytime drowsiness from the meds sucks so much ass. i've struggled with sleep since i was a kid but it's gotten way worse over the past few years -10000/10 do not feccoment

Is your tinnitus constant? or on and off? I never had insomnia, my insomnia is caused by tin, mine is bad, i can't ignore it as it's too loud, hope it will get better, otherwise i don't know what future holds for me. I sleep with sleep meds as well, that's the only way i can sleep, but it's not comparable to natural sleep, as you just black out, and i don't dream, so there's no sleep stage 1,2 or 3, just complete black out for whatever hours the med i sedating your brain.

constant basically though it fluctuates (usually when i dont have my hayfever tablets because that shit fucks up my sinuses) but idk i've just learned to live with it. i cant sleep without sleep meds but tbh i've never been able to, even since i was a toddler i've had trouble with sleep so the tinnitus doesnt really play a part
im looking to find bettr sleep meds cus the sleep quality sucks and i wake up usually multiple times in the night and still get like daytime drowsiness from it

Just google serotonin syndrome.
Its not hard to induce with sertraline and l-tryptophan. It'll cook you alive tho. Organ failure, brain damage, seizures, etc.
