Naturally there are no situations in my life to make my brain produce any of these neurotransmitters. Venlafaxine provides me huge amount of serotonine and noradrenaline. I was feeding my brain with external endorphines (opioids) for about 5 years, now I fill the gaps of these by alcohol and self-harm. Oxytocin was produced in my brain when I looked after my cats but now they're gone.

Some research on neurobiology:
Number 12 and 13 of the lectures are introductions to parts of the brain.

This one is on the Limbic region and talking about emotion.

I gotta do both...

Playing this kids and hugging them, doing things like cleaning the house so I feel like I did well and can see my work, gaming since its designed to make us feel good and want them, sleep, going for walks, weed, and sugar.

yeah, most of these aren't ideal or spirituality enriching, but they do the job.

Thank you for sharing this. I'm way way beyond medicated. I like how this explains what these hormones are- what the sings of them lacking are and how to increase them naturally. I will try to do at least 1 listed activity every day to see what happens.

Changing these hormones through inorganic means (antidepressants) is why I am here

Thanks for this :smiling:

Im wanting to be on my way to being unmedicated so I can naturally feel emotions - so I can enjoy things again and feel 'reality'. Drug can be good of course in emergency situation I suppose, but I've been constantly drugged I want to feel a natural 'Serotonin' instead of the constant blah.

thats an amazing post you put there, I actually wrote some of it down cause it's so true. SSRI do little for me, benzos a bit more relaxed, I don't take OxyContin, but when I'm in physical pain I take another form of opioids (prescribed) and it does exactly what it states in the pink zone. Love this post.
