We should be able to take the bus comfortably with this method.

Don't do it. Even historically, the ritual was seldomly done and it required someone else to kill you.

It's more self-aggrandizing myth akin to Spartans being able to choose to be professional soldiers only because all the menial work just to live was done by slaves who far outnumbered citizens, and how those soldiers functioned more to enforce slavery within Sparta than to defend against threats from without.​

It's not really seppuku because i'm pretty sure you need someone to behead you after you stab yourself. Also I'm pretty sure seppuku self-stabbing goes through the stomach or liver, it'd probably burn if you puncture through your stomach and intestinal walls and expose all the acid. But, hey stabbing always hurts.

Don't try it.
