The scariest part of hurting yourself, imo, isn't the pain, but rather the fact that you're hurting yourself. It feels sick yet just like any other addiction, you find yourself craving it.

It's widely accepted that when you are in pain in one area, creating pain in another area 'spreads out' the effects of the pain. You crave it because hurting more makes you hurt less.

Self Harm is so addictive. If I'm gonna vent a little, people have removed self harm away from me but not from me. They removed my blades, but not the will. I believe this addiction will stay with me for a long while.Similar threads
