  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Just been on a "normie" forum and there was a thread about a mother who killed herself. The ignorant and "SeLfIsH" comments have made my blood boil. I know I will probably be downvoted there but I don't care what sheep have to say.

The idea that we are entited to remove ourselves from this earth whenever we want and that we are not "weak" for deciding when we leave this arduous life that we didn't sign up for is stil a controversial one that will have people looking at you like you're crazy and dismissing your ideas under the guise of "irrational, poor mental health".

It feels like I've been red pilled coming to this website. This is the future and the truth that censors are afraid of.

I'm not an extremist. I don't want a world where people kill themselves impulsively because "life is meaningless". I just believe that it simply is the truth that if a rational, grown adult who has tried as much as they can from their position feels life is not worth living and wants to die - they have a right to that and it is not a moral failing. If anything it was a tragedy that this word was not evolved enough to help that person, or it is not a tragedy at all if they simply want to die because life isn't for them. We are humans, and those left behind will grieve and feel sorrow but the guilting has to stop.

Self determination and suicide will be a future debate that humanity will have to come to terms with, and I'm not talking aboute euthanasia for the terminally ill.

I agree. This will be the next big thing as support grows and more people want to exit life.

Yes, I agree. We have the right to exit this world at a time of our choosing, it is our life, our decision and nobody else has any say in it. We have no obligations to stay alive as we did not ask to exist. We do not need to justify our reasons for leaving. Euthanasia should be legal everywhere, but the society needs workers. It is cruel to expect people to suffer for decades.

I think people who are not suicidal themselves will never be able to comprehend what it is like. They live under a delusion that life is always worth living and they are in denial of the fact that things can get that hopeless that one would want to exit this world. They therefore dismiss all suicides as being irrational. Suicide is the only thing that makes sense to me. Wanting suicide can be a perfectly rational response to a life that the individual sees as not worth living.

You're never going to stop someone from committing suicide in the same way you're never going to stop someone from taking illegal drugs.

It's being reported in the UK that numbers have doubled in teenagers being prescribed anti depressants in the last 10 years.
