to live is to suffer, and to create life is to impose that suffering.
why force us to exist in such awful conditions it's not right or reasonable
that why getting pregnant lacks awareness
the casualness with which life is created without foresight, without true consent, without guarantees can feel like an unforgivable violence when you're the one living through the pain, loss, and decay it brings.
why something as monumental and irreversible as bringing a life into the world is done so casually, so blindly, and often without true understanding or consent.
if becoming a parent required deep awareness and informed, mutual consent if people truly understood what they were forcing a child to endure birth rates would absolutely plummet.
because the weight of that responsibility, if taken seriously, is enormous.
we're born into a system where pain, decay, and eventual death are guaranteed, and the good when it exists is fleeting, fragile, and always at risk
the thing most people celebrate birth is the very act that condemns another consciousness to struggle, fear, and loss. And it's often done without serious thought, without understanding the gravity of what it means to bring someone into an impermanent, unstable, and painful world.
in life there is no care for it just a bleak hellhole where everything you care about breakdown and dies
these lives are unable to be saved from the bad aspects of life of which there are a many bad aspects to life
the one thing life seems to crave most lasting indefinitely is the one thing it can never have. Everything that has ever lived has died. every structure breaks. every bond ends. every joy fades. there is no rescue from this.
since nothing really matters in life there's no point in doing any of it, life is an exercise in pointlessness i would rather not partake in it
i wonder what horrors await life in this uncaring universe that never promised safety, justice, or meaning
hopefully soon to be gone for all time
