As the title says.
These two were my biggest dreams.
But because of my social anxiety they will never happen.
And those are 2 of the reasons I want to ctb.
But i've come to terms with never having those things.
I'm fine with that.
I guess some things were never meant to happen.
It's not like you ever get what you want in this nightmarish life anyways.

I had wish of finding at least a relationship with another woman, but I've too, come to terms that that won't happen due to my Aspergers and social anxiety problems. In fact, I couldn't even make and keep friends, only acquaintances at best. As far as living in the US, it isn't much better with all the bullshit going on and the direction where the country is headed, so imho, you aren't likely going to be better off in the US. I do wish however to be born or move to the Netherlands, Belgium, or Switzerland because at least they have the right to die for terminally ill patients as well as those with severe, chronic problems (not terminal but still severe - such as quadriplegia, paraplegia, cerebral palsy, MS, ALS, etc.)

Yeah I also don't have friends, but I can live without that.
What kills me , and one of the reasons I want to ctb, is seeing guys all the time on the street or in restaurants walking hand in hand with cute gf while I have nothing.

And as for the US getting worst, I agree with you.
It's this entire world getting shittier and shittier with each day it seems.
Another reason to ctb and leave this nightmare (life) forever.

I know it's hopeless to remotely ever get into a relationship for me so therefore I don't even think about it. Thinking about the fact that I actually should be able to get into one and that it's basically one of the key aspects in life, makes me sad. I'm very prone to get angry and I'm really anti-social, on top of that I'm suffering from depression and social anxiety. I can't see myself living in the next 10 years, besides all the mental health problems, I'm also suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. How is a person supposed to get into a relationship if they are struggling with taking care of themselves? The only thing that actually makes me happy is making progress at the gym, that's literally it. Some people just can't get into a relationship, that's life.

Exactly, and I've long given up on trying to make friends let alone get into a relationship with another woman. I'd probably have a much better chance getting struck by lightning, killed in some freak accident than to find someone to be with.

The last sentence is spot on, some people just can't get into a relationship and life is just unfair like that. What annoys me is that people don't see it that way but instead to keep trying to encourage and build (false hope in) someone up to fail. These people not only include people around that person but also mental health professionals, especially with their whackshit platitudes, like "there is someone for everyone" or bullshit along those lines. Just fucking false promises and lies to goad people into buying horseshit and then if the person fails and ends up worse, they absolve themselves of any responsibility and blame the person for not trying hard enough. Fuck that bullshit, I'm going my own way.

I live in the US and it really isn't what it's cracked up to be. Americans are good at marketing. They'll make it look like you have opportunities and are free here. Sure, it's a lot better than some other countries, but it is over-hyped. There is also little help here. You are expected to be on your own. It's very individualist and every man for himself.

You are right about that.
But what I like the most about the US , and this you can't deny is the feeling of freedom which comes from the size of the country.
I live in a very small country and it feels like living in a tight one bedroom apartment.
Whilst living in the US (I can only imagine) feels (in this regard) like living in a mansion.
You have endless open spaces, and you can drive for hours on end in any direction.
One of my dreams is to drive in the US on the freeway at night for hours, with good music.
The last and only time I visited the US was with my parents when I was 11 back in 2003.
We went ro nyc and then flew to california to disneyland and after that san diego.
It was a great trip.
One of the best moments of my life.
Back when I still enjoyed life and wasn't suicidal.

I wish it was that simple man.
I have social anxiety, which complicates everything and make everything a lot harder socially.
I have 0 friends also because of that.
And it's extremely hard to move to the US these days.

If it makes you feel better im a white male born and raised in America and i can tell you we are a disgusting country filled with systematic slavery.

Most of us are born into a system with no say.

- You go to school and graduate

-You either go to college and live in debt or go straight to the work force where you will spend 50-60 years of your one existence on this planet working 40 hours a week and often more feeding into the system.

- Everything you do in adult hood lines somebody elses pockets. You go to work and make pennies on the dollar of what the corporation is making because of your hard work.
You need to eat and cloth yourself well buying food and clothes that cost a fraction to produce lines someone elses pocket
Occasionally youll want to "reward" yourself and for example buy a new iPhone a product that again cost a GROSS FRACTION to produce but because people will pay $1,000 for it thats what its sold for. All so you can a sense buy a sense of self esteem having that item.

When you get old and are no longer of value to the machine you "retire" live off a monthly check to scrape by with until you die and your kids take your place and then their kids and their kids

The cycle is never ending and the worst part is many that dont follow it are homeless, in prison, in poverty, or dead.

Were born in america for no reason other than feeding into the machine.

So you don't feel a feeling of freedom because of the size of the US?
Or knowing you can move to 100 different cities?
Maybe you were born into that so you don't feel it.

In my opinion, as a born US citizen, it sucks here. Asia/Europe is better. America is very individualistic, you're basically alone in everything because everyone else is trying to one up you or get ahead over you. Pretty much every western country on earth now is free so even that you can get in a much better place. We're also going in the absolute wrong direction because we're being run by extremely conservative (conservative means harder to die) and corrupt politicians. I dream of moving to Canada, just because it could be possible for me to hitchhike there. My absolute dream is to live or die somewhere in Asia, probably japan. The United States is the most overrated country on earth.

This is an very accurate description of the average American adult. I myself am currently a NEET, which means I'm not working and have no income at the moment. If not for my parents, then I'd be homeless, be in prison, be in poverty, or be dead. I just have enough to barely get by and I know my parents are more than ready to cut me off. However, knowing my situation, I wouldn't want to grind for life nor am I good at keeping a job for an extended period of time.

Honestly in the same boat right now. Im 22 havent worked in almost exactly 3 months.

In august i got in an awful argument at home all sorts of mean shit was said both ways my mom said she was going to call the cops and throw me out so i said if cops come im charging them with a knife and getting shot dead.

Stupidly i shouldnt said it outloud. She tipped the cops off and we just had a weird standoff in my neighborhood.. Didn't get arrested but placed on a 72hr hold for mental evaluations, being use to the system i refused all medication and said it was all out of rage and not me being suicidal so that theyd let me go home.

Came home last week of August was fired for missing those days (wasnt upset about that honestly)

And since have been wishing every single day i could grow the courage to end it all, im itching closer thankfully.

I feel too "woke" like i just lost all motivation to be a go-getter or buy into the system and pretend it's not all stupid and almost brain washing

One of my biggest dreams is also to live in the US I wish I could at least visit there before I ctb. Also my biggest hobby is firearms and I always imagined I might faint if I ever entered a big US gun store just the amount of variety with no restrictions would seem impossible to be legal to me. Also everything is so cheap in the US and they have so many fast food restaurants and their fastfood cost like 1/3 of what we give for the same food in DK. Sigh... I really wish I had been born in the US.

I live in the U.S., and as others here have said, it's overrated. Nearly half of voters actually voted for our piece of shit ex-president. Not that I think our current president is a hell of a lot better. Most politicians in Washington D.C. are bought and paid for by the big corporations. Rampant corruption. We are also cursed with rampant racism, and thanks to our former president, the COVID pandemic has become a political issue, instead of what it is, a public health crisis. The gap between the wealthy and those living in poverty is worse than anytime in history. I'd guess there are worse countries in the world to live in, but there sure as shit are a lot better ones to live in too.

The United States is full of people who argue among each other while the elites rob it. The only color that matters is green, the currency. Nobody complains that so few white players qualify for the professional football and basketball leagues.
