Wouldn't it be great having a medication that suppresses SI fully. Or at least make it a lot easier to ctb.
I know there are some drugs like alcohol that help a little bit. I do not like the other possible side effects moreover I do not like these drugs. They can deteriorate your mental well being and do not work that good.
The big problem with this is. If you do not have a SI you normally do crazy shit that might cause permanent damage.
However it would be so great to suppress the grief, the desperation and the anxiety.

It's called pain. They need to start making pain fillers instead of pain killers.

They could also just legalize mercy kills, then you don't need to invent a new drug, which sounds super complicated and has the same result anyway. :p

For me, I know it would be a lot easier if someone else did it.

Never thought of that, great idea, but I'd instantly buy ten kilograms of it. Survival instinct is pretty much the only thing keeping me here anymore.

WAIT! I once read a horror manga about that, I just recalled. There was a school with lots of depressed, scared, shy etc. kids so the teachers started to give them medicine which took away their fears. Because they didn't fair failure or the future or social meetings or anything else anymore, they got rid of their depression and lack of motivation etc., and thus they were able to do really well in school.

But then a new student transferred into that school and while at first she liked it there and thought "Wow! All these students are always really happy and cheerful and not scared or depressed about anything! This is a really nice school!", one day she happened find the kids before they were given their medication, and the kids were really depressed and sad and scared, and she was really shocked by how different the kids are without medication compared to with medication. And then the kids played dangerous games like walking on roof's edges etc. and someone died but because the other kids didn't fear death they just continued the game like nothing had happened.

The transfer student was the only non-medicated student so to her it was horrible to witness the other students behavior. And then her teacher tried to medicate her too. I don't know how it continued because there weren't more translated chapters available yet.

They should just legalise euthanasia instead. We all deserve a peaceful exit at a time of our own choosing. The SI will not be an issue if we have that option. They would never invent anything to make it easier to ctb as the society needs to keep us alive.

If that were the case, a lot of drugs would come off the shelves of pharmacies.

Diazepam is the drug that comes closest to doing that available today. I was prescribed this before my lasik procedure. Took one pill about 20 mins before the surgery, and no longer gave a shit that a fuck up could leave me permanently blinded.

I know someone who was prescribed diazepam and her experience sounds pretty similar. Says she was just completely zonked out and didn't care about anything, it was worse than what she was originally dealing with. She ended up flushing them.

Yeah, it's a strange feeling to be sure. But I can see them being extremely helpful in overcoming si. At the same time, if you need drugs like this, maybe you aren't ready or 100% sure that it's time to go, or that your method would work.

never really thought about it like that but for me personally, I'll be using them for a more peaceful departure and i'm prescribed them anyway.
