Conflicted. My head and my heart want to take me in two different directions. I feel as if the last few years have been hard enough, and it is difficult to justify further suffering in service of a better future. I can take the harder road now, risking my emotional equilibrium, and be more secure down the road, or I can take the easier path now and safeguard my sanity. If I were not so emotionally fragile, the answer would be obvious, but here we are on this website once again.
