Rule Clarification?

Can anyone tell me if linking to my blog is against this rule:

• Post or request personal information, website links, or sources of ANY kind.
  • Don't post personal information of anyone, no matter if the information is public or not, or if you have been given permission or not. This includes posting personal information of providers, of yourself, of someone else, or website links to providers (e.g., amazon, ebay, onions, upload sites, independent sellers). Asking publicly for contacts is also disallowed. If you wish to share information with someone, do so via PM, but understand the risks of doing so.

I could just copy and paste my entire post on my blog into a thread if it is, it's just easier (and yes, I do like to SEE my stats on my blog, but I don't get paid for it or anything) to post the link.

Please advise?

But you do need to ask yourself whether you wish to remain anonymous.

Being totally anonymous doesn't matter to me. If someone who knows me is on here... well, they're here too.

idk if it's against the rules, but it does bother me that seemingly every post you make is about your blog - it's spammy.

just leave a post on your profile linking it or something imo

I have definitely commented & made posts on here not about my blog. In fact before a few days ago I'd been ignoring my blog for months.Writing helps & im going through a shitty time, so I'm trying it again. And sharing helps me. But I see what you mean.

Being totally anonymous doesn't matter to me. If someone who knows me is on here... well, they're here too.

The thing you really need to be worried about is someone that is able to recognize you discovering that you are on here and reporting you to police and/or mental health services. I would hate to see you get forcibly placed into a psychiatric ward over it. It doesn't look like you are violating any rules by sharing your blog to me, but you should still be careful anyway.

Not necessarily. People don't have to join up to be able to read posts/threads and there are pro-lifers who scan the site to try to prevent suicides (including those who belong to the anti SS group on Facebook & they have been known to take screenshots of ss posts to share on their page.)

I think it's a good idea to copy and paste the content of your blog if your intention is about the content and not about attracting followers.

You can also link your blog address in your profile settings, and it will be seen every time you post next to your react score.

Edit: Also to consider, the webhost may track where people are coming from when they click on the link you share (that's one reason why we don't source, because sites like the auction site figure out suicidal people are seeking products and they block people from being able to order anything on the site). Conceivably, your webhost may detect your hits are coming from a suicide forum and not allow you to post anymore.

Yes. It's called "STOP Sanctionedsuicide.com"
Set up by one of the parents whose child killed himself after being logged on to SS. They've made it private now but you can still see that it's there.
There's also petitions on change.org trying to get SS closed down.

Interestingly enough, that group is how I found this page, but not to get it shut down, I'm a part of y'all now. It's the old saying "any press is good press."

If it wasn't for stumbling across that group I never would've known this site was here.
