I've been following the developments of this story for quite some time
It appears that he's been horribly abused by his mom. The details are sickeningly graphic. He's been failed by his family (who knew of the abuse) and everyone who was supposed to help
It's made me reflect on my own trauma and experiences. How my mom hurt me and everyone knew but no one stepped up for me in the way they should have
So many people are failed. By teachers, family, neighbors, people who clearly know something is wrong but don't want to get involved until it's too late
