Hello,

For partial hanging, what kind of rope should I order ? Is this one ok ? What fabric is the best, and what about the diameter and length ?

20 mm is too thick even for full suspension.
Thinner ligature will make you pass out a bit faster, 6-7mm maybe.

Going to hotel tomorrow and trying this method again. Taking scarfs, s bed sheet , a belt and even string. Just going for it. Rope Is probably not needed for this method. Just need unconscious. Then hopefully the rest will just happen.

There is a closet with a metal bar in the rooms I go too. Might try over the door attached to the door knob aswell.
