i find it wise for one to relinquish their attachments and desires in this volatile existence — nothing is guaranteed but the cessation of progress made in this finite life.
what end would we find for ourselves if our time wasn't finite? how could one ever find themselves at a point in their existence, fully satisfied with all that they have done, considering their life "complete" and all possible desires satiated? that is not possible as a human being.
if you do not recognize the biological machine you are, the insatiability of what your innermost being beckons for you to endlessly pursue — you will find yourself in conquest with a battle that is never meant to be won — shining light into a tunnel of infinite darkness, never realizing the lack of an end and the futility of your effort.
one cannot be bothered by the unfulfillment of a desire that does not apply to them. only let the instability and uncertainty of this world — a world that you can never exert supreme control over — resonate with you.
