The child knew explicit details about that pilot. Details that weren't even mentioned in any ww2 books or documentary but he knew them, how is that possible?I'll never believe in any kind of reincarnation afterlife etc. a human is just another animal true or not? is evolution true or not ? it's true humans evolved from a single cells ancestor. all life descended from a single ancestor. a human is just an animal, cells a machine , chemical reactions that's it. do machines or chemical reactions reincarnate ?
imo it's very easy for a human to make up a story. and even when small children are involved how do we know the parents didn't create this hoax like for example repeatedly telling the kid this story and even maybe hypnotizing the children .
i'll never believe anything a human says ever . only reproducible evidence or experiments.
there have been hundreds or more of people saying they saw a religious aparition. same thing for NDEs . even more for ufo sigthings. however there is no hard evidence to match these many stories. for example there is no video of any of these things or no instrument has never dected anything of these kinds of things nor even a trace of them or an energy field nothing .
and how do we know the parents or another adult didn't tell these stories to the child ? that's just one way i see it could be a hoax . many other ways that i haven't thought of and i just thought of it for a little bit.The child knew explicit details about that pilot. Details that weren't even mentioned in any ww2 books or documentary but he knew them, how is that possible?
Exactly. Here's the thing. The laws of God ( by extension, the laws of universe) are universal and apply equally to all irrespective of gender , race , culture , country etc. Example: Gravity. Gravity suddenly doesn't change for one person because there is something unique to that person.
So if there is reincarnation (at all) and it is designed not to be remembered... NOBODY will remember.
And if you don't/can't remember a phenomenon , it's as good as non existent. Just do good, be a good human being..that's all there is to it.
I had read the concept of reincarnation prevalent in Buddhism. It doesn't speak about soul reincarnation as it doesn't believe in a soul . The concept was a bit difficult to understand. But it's way different than how the world projects reincarnation to be. I didn't understand much though.Exactly.
Not to mention one person becoming another is essentially meaningless. There can't be a transference when what is being transferred is lost in the process. Unless you just fall back on the concept of a soul.
Yeah Buddhist rebirth and karma is hard to understand and there's tons of interpretations. Schopenhaeur tried to simplify it by suggesting the will (a kind of world soul) continually incarnates in different forms but there's no transmigration of the soul.I had read the concept of reincarnation prevalent in Buddhism. It seems like you are asking two questions: one, is suicide ever justified and two, is your case such a case. In answer to the first, I would say I'm not sure if it ever is the right thing to do but if it is, it would be very very very very very very rare. And is your case such a case, I would say no. I think in order for you to choose suicide, you must understand what will happen when you die, and that you do not know. And what will the consequences be of suicide? From a Buddhist perspective, you will likely create a situation in which your future reincarnations will become addicted to suicide and you will do it over and over causing so much pain to yourself and others. This is the risk you take if you decide to kill yourself: a cycle of suffering much larger than you can fathom. You may be in the midst of such a cycle currently which means that breaking that cycle would be very difficult and that is what you stand to gain in future lives if you don't kill yourself. This is what I understand about suicide.
You will die one day no matter what, and they say that your state of mind at the time of death greatly impacts your trajectory of the bardo and rebirth. Killing yourself is a very very very difficult way to enter those next phases. Now they say at the time of death no matter what, you experience the clear light, you merge with god so to speak, the problem is that it won't stick, you won't stay merged if you cannot recognize it. So after that beautiful experience of nirvana and heaven, you continue on through the afterlife to much more scary and difficult experiences and eventually take rebirth based on what is familiar to you, to your mental habits and karma. If you die by suicide then you may take a rebirth from a parent who is suicidal for example which would again be a difficult life.
From the outside I can say with 100% certainty that you do have options, although I know you don't feel that way. Every day that you don't kill yourself is actually incredibly brave and meritorious. And as time goes on, your state of mind will change because all things all ways change. How your mind changes depends on you.
I am speaking very honestly here. This what my teachers have taught me.
