I've been waiting on this for like 2 or so years. This is supposed to be THE ideal suicide method, even much better than SN or other popular methods mentioned here. Did you buy yours yet or know anyone who has?

If anyone has bought and received theirs, let us know. Although, I may grow impatient and purchase it soon regardless.

Hello everybody! Last week, on 26 March 2021 I bought the R2D Rebreather II successfully from the Internet, www.right2die.org! Friday March 26 was the first day it was possible to buy the device from their website.

Not a bad price considering how expensive similar methods can be. Will be interesting to hear from anyone who orders one.

Oh wow this fucking thing again. This thing pops up on here every 6 months or so. Still haven't read about anyone actually succeeding with one they bought from one of these companies. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I suspect it's all a bullshit scam to steal $$ from desperate individuals.

They're trying to recoup the money they spent on the awkward 3D instructional video they made for the website.
I don't blame people for wanting to believe the hype, but you're right- there are no actual accounts of anyone succeeding with this. Maybe if the person using it had bad lung capacity, was already on oxygen, etc?

Because it fits what I've said above- it might work for someone extremely frail and elderly, who may be on oxygen or have low lung capacity- who the PPH is for at the end of the day.
But a lot of people here are not elderly and will need a lot more to CTB.

You only have three messages on this Site and your already advertising a Website to buy a great exit method you should get paid by that website for marketing......

It is another one of Dr. Nitschke's moneymaking scams, like his annual PPeH updates, NuTech conferences, SARCO device, etc.

He was connected with the R2D Rebreather endeavor when it was first announced in 2017. This is the third attempt at market launch over the 4-year period! Same product, no change.

Should a self-declared humanist be wining and dining to peddle his newest offerings? Here are some photos from his recent trip to Venice displaying his SARCO. You decide...

FWIW, I wasn't going to say anything but like NormaJeane, I bought one as well on the 26 and was going to make a dry run with it.

A lot of methods are not perfect unless you can inject nembutal or have a helper inject heroin. I don't expect the rebreather to be perfect but hopefully peaceful.

I'm not going to give a report for ethical reasons unless I feel it doesn't work.

Any feedback you can give on the ease of "breathing naturally" while using this device would be very appreciated (respecting your ethics of course).

Do know that, it is my belief that if you unseal the filters, you must use them then: If you do a "dry run"/test only using the filters... I'm pretty sure new filters will then be required if you want to use the device again later...

They have a good shelf-life... but only while they remain sealed.

Yeah, the more methods that are available & the more that suicide can be somewhat normalized — seen as acceptable in more situations — the better, imho.

The Sarco is expensive... but I think it can help "sanitize" a suicide death = By making it seem like an automatic procedure. In the Western world people really seem to want a "hands off" distancing from death. The Sarco ~kinda helps give that effect (for those who can afford it).

As for a ReBreather... it'd sure be nice to have a legal, pretty cheap, all-in-one-order, non-medicine method... in our toolbox.

I'll never understand those people out there that just LOVE their life and love every part of it. When I was younger I desperately wanted to be one of those people but now I've come to terms with everything and I'm at peace with my decisions. As far as the death coaster goes, I'm going to ride all the other rides in the park first and sometime when the sun is starting to set, queue up and wait my turn. Woo-hoo!

The sarco is 100% obsolete with the scuba mask setup. The sarco is only a novelty now.
I own a scuba setup (same as LetzteAusfahrt) and cost is $1,300 and I've made a dry run with it months ago. I understand why LetzteAusfahrt went with SN. I was hoping debreather is a little better than scuba setup, as in slower acting because the last moments with scuba setup resemble the pig that is shown on youtube and a bit disorienting.
