Hey y'all. I have told a few folks that I would like to CTB. I understand there's not much an anyone can do. And I acknowledge the bulk work is on me to figure out. So with the keep going conversation out of the way here's my plan? NyQuil and a swim. I can't swim and the drowsiness of the medication should be enough to keep me subdue me to be asleep to not have my SI kick in. I would then just roll into the water and let the rest of the movie magic roll. I haven't seen anyone discuss such a method any feedback would be amazing.

My opinion would be that Nyquil is nowhere near powerful enough to subdue the panic that would insue from drowning - it would wake you right up.

I've heard conflicting anecdotes about people who did drown and were saved and recovered. Some say it's excruciatingly painful to have your lungs fill with water, and yet others I read say it's very peaceful and no pain or panic was felt.

I would not try this. Chester Bennington from Linkin Park tried to hog tie himself and threw himself in to the pool. However, he changed his mind at the last second and was able to just barely free himself. Apparently this was a little before he ended up hanging himself.
