Hello, longtime lurker and new member here. I am looking to take the SN method. I've got my hands on SN, Benzos, and Quetiapine.

I know most people recommend meto, but I do not currently have that and haven't found a great method of getting it yet. Is it better to try to get ahold of that, or is Quetiapine a valid option?

I looked through Stan's guide and saw it listed, but it said "245 nM." I have no idea what an "nM" is. Can anyone help?

Thank you so much for the help. This is sad news, I was hoping I'd be able to just take a higher amount right before.

I wonder what my chances are without any anti-emetic. I'm not sure I could handle taking 300 daily for an extended time.

Yeah I'm on 300mg Quetiapine and it's not an easy medication to take. It puts me to sleep 14-16 hours a day, and it took weeks to taper up to that dose.

Fortunately I don't think it's necessary to have an anti-emetic, it's more of a nice-to-have. You might have to suffer from more nausea and vomiting without it, but it will most likely still work as long as you follow the rest of the protocol.

Thank you, this gives me some hope. I'm currently only taking 25mg of Quetiapine and it knocks me out. I sleep like 10 hours and still feel I could sleep more after.

Maybe I'll just attempt without then.

Were you prescribed it at 300, or just getting to it for its antiemetic effects for ctb?

I was prescribed 300mg for depression. It's just a happy coincidence that it's also an anti-emetic at that dose.

Damn, how do you even function when you're sleeping 14-16 hours a day? No job?

Yeah, I'm unemployed and essentially disabled due to bipolar disorder. Regular antidepressants don't work with bipolar, so I have to deal with meds that cause terrible side effects like sleeping half the day. I used to be a successful software engineer, and now I couldn't even run a cash register. That's a big part of why I want to CTB.

I'm right there with you. Engineer, barely hanging onto that now and very much on my way out of it. Only barely hanging on because I work from home. I don't think I could work a cash register, most days I don't function now. My last attempt (hanging) fucked up my spine and now I want to ctb way more. Psychiatrist did diagnose me bipolar. I guess maybe I can tell her I want higher Q but I also would like to do it soon rather than waiting however many weeks. Feel like I'm losing my window of opportunity before people catch on and make my life even worse. I refuse to go back to a psych ward.

Do you guys think taking 300mg of Quetiapine before would be more beneficial than nothing?

I can totally relate. I used to be a successful diplomat for 10+ years. Then chronic, treatment resistant depression came and they fired me. Not able to hold down a similar job so I am now delivering pizzas. I went from being a diplomat to a pizza delivery guy. Awesome career change. I want to CTB.
