Help Questions about the dark web

If I ever ctb I'd rather do it myself without having to buy stuff from the dark web but like if I ever decided to as a last resort, what is it like? I hear many terrible things about the dark web and I've honestly never been on it, it scares me. I'd literally only use it for drugs, can someone tell me if I'd get traumatized or something or see something absolutely disgusting??? I don't want that

The dark web is not nearly as scary as people make it out to be. For example, many of the myths like hitmen/hackers-for-hire & red rooms are complete bs (or honeypots). You can access the dark web really easily, but it's just an un-indexed and anonymous network. There are some things on there that are jarring, but they're really hard to come by unless you're actively looking for them.

Also, I highly recommend that you NOT buy anything illegal off the dark web, as you're likely to be scammed or arrested.

They probably know good sources. I've never bought anything off the dark web, but it's better not to waste your money or freedom on that risk.
