Questions for people who have ordered from it

About how long does it take to ship?

I've heard they might ask if you have a company so do people just make up a fake company name (seems risky cause what if they look into that) or just be honest you don't have one? Will they still sell to you if you don't?

Are they difficult about mislabeling the package? Do they find it suspicious/question that you want it mislabeled?

How much did you get and how much is the cost?

I'm still waiting on mine but they told me 15-20 days. The sellers who are willing to mislabel a package with a hazardous material and ship it to a residential address are usually the same ones who don't care if you're a company or not. There are many sellers on MiC, but all you need is 1 who is willing to send to you. Contact as many as you can and chances are one of them will do what you need. If you ask them to mislabel and they tell you no, just move on to the next one.

I messaged 25 sellers saying:
"Hi,

I'd like to order a 100g sample of your Sodium Nitrite. Please quote me the total price including shipping to the US.

Please confirm you can ship it as follows:

Plain, unmarked brown box or mailer (no branding/logos).
Declare the contents as something generic/mislabel it (to get it through customs)
No external hazard labels (no Toxic/Poison/Warning stickers).
No signature required for delivery.

Thanks"

7 said they can't ship Class 5 hazardous material without complying with proper labeling and customs declaration, 4 said the order is too small, 13 gave no response or said "hi," or something, and 1 said yes. They showed me photos of the interior and exterior packaging, gave me the price, and confirmed they will mislabel it. Paid $180 for 100g with paypal, its on the higher end of price but that's okay. When getting my shipping information they asked for my business name IF I have one, so I just didnt list one.

Can I ask if you put any specific filters for when you searched? Like filters on purity, or grade standard? Or did you just search SN and just start messaging everyone that shows up?

Did you ask them about the purity?

I searched sn and filtered for 99% purity and got 1800+ results. Industrial grade is for water treatment and dye manufacturing, etc, food grade is for sausage and cured meats, but it doesn't matter, as neither of those will be your usage. I've read the difference is that industrial has trace amounts of impurities/metals and anti-caking agents. I haven't been able to find much information on how industrial vs food grade affects the taste and texture of the sn when dissolved in water, but it seems everyone is saying they both work just as well. If you filter by 99% rather than choosing one of the range options, like 90-99%, there's no need to ask about the purity as its listed accurately in the product description but it doesn't hurt to ask if you want to be extra safe.

I did inquire but after looking at the difference it seems that inquiry sends it as an email, but appears also appears in the sales rep's chat. Chat Now sends your message directly in the sales rep chat. It seems they are effectively the same. But with inquiry it opens up a separate tab with a page for you to type your message to send. With ChatNow it opens the chat on your current screen and can't be opened in another tab. You can open up 25 inquiry tabs at once then paste your message into each one and hit send. If you use ChatNow you'll have to open and send on the same tab for each seller, 1 by 1.
