Some people have said you can use a syrup or something to sweeten it or rinse your mouth with very strong mouthwash to numb the tastebuds
What do you think would work best?

As an anosmia sufferer I cant smell or taste anything, so for me it isn't a problem. I just can't get it, as A's old email isn't working. Please can anyone advise me on a reliable source?
Or A's email. I have heard he's still active. Please guys... I'd really appreciate a contact or A's current email.

I've read one of the assisted dying organizations uses simple syrup, but really, that's just going to be a mixture of a bad taste and a good one, I don't know if it would make it more palatable or not. You could try a tiny bit of the N, get a good rest from it, then if needed, try a tiny bit with simple syrup. Once you open the N, though, it's going to start degrading, so I would suggest you do this when you're getting close to when you actually want to use it. If you have two bottles of Pisabental, I wouldn't worry so much about opening one bottle to test it, I personally would find a way to seal the contents of the open bottle as best I could and then drink both bottles.

Use a syringe to remove an amount you want to use to sleep test / taste with , it will protect the remainder of the bottle.

I would prefer Strong Alcohol after to counter the taste, but that's just my opinion.
Don't test by using Alcohol as it will strengthen the effect of the N

When the day comes, the taste will be the last of your worries. Thousands of people have managed to drink it without any difficulty, or vomiting. Most of them were old. ill and weak, yet they drank it like champs. I tasted it and yes it's disgusting, but not to the point of being a serious problem. Don't mix it with anything, it's totally useless. This whole taste thing is really overblown.

I was one of those who used to minimise the taste concern after a first test with drops (Pisabental) but after I tested with 2ml for a second time, it gave me physical reactions like chills with uncontrollable head movements and it filled my head.
I'm considering not to be a wimp when it comes to taste as you can see in my recovery thread, I trialed many supplements, the worst one being Tongkat Ali (longjack root) by far.

Nothing that will stop someone determined but also maybe not anecdotal.

I am not really surprised. I can't stand the hard stuff either. I've always wondered how Americans manage to drink whiskey all the time in their TV shows :)

N tastes bad it's a fact. However it's the most peaceful way to go. You're lucky! When this travel ban is over I'm gonna travel to Mexico it Thailand to get some!

Even if you would be in Mexico, how would you get it?

Regarding taste you can numb your mouth with different methods (lidocaine) .
That in combination with primed honey or Nutella will kill most of the bad taste.

Also, hold your nose.

Lots of people know the current one, that's the one I used, I just asked around on the site, just make sure you ask multiple people to confirm to avoid getting a fake one

The "thousands of people" you see drinking N are drinking the powdered version which can be dissolved in much less liquid thus easily ingested. A's form is not powder. Instead its 200ml of liquid if you decide to buy 2 bottles. Many people on SS have had trouble with it especially if one has a squeamish stomach, is sensitive to nasty tastes, or has a strong gag reflex.


@xLosthopex You may want to consider dosing via the back door. Always best to have a backup plan. If I went through all that trouble to successfully acquire N, I wouldn't want to waste it.

He was not the only supplier in PPH since 2015. At least until late 2018 he was one of two. As previously indicated many of them bought the powder from the other supplier until he went rogue. Therefore it is not accurate to conclude that thousands have drank N from A. Many were drinking the powdered N including including legacy members of this forum.


EDIT: Not trying to be argumentative @Bleu Nuit I just dont want OP to discount the impact of the horrific taste. I've seen many here attempt to drink it and could not. So labeling it a psychological issue is somewhat trivializing the issue. There was even someone who tried to drink it and it was so horrible he decided to pay for euthanasia in his country instead. He is now gone. I doubt he would have gone through the headache and excess expense to pay for death if he didn't have such difficultly with the taste.


@xLosthopex anise syrup is the chaser they use in one of the clinics (not sure whether its Dignitas). Should you decide to expirement to determine whether you are able to down it I'd recommend buying some.

Personally I believe I have to go for powder due to taste, I can only imagine SI would takeover with such a large amount of an intravenous liquid.

That being said, maybe you could test a different liquid with something like a large 300ml syringe with a tube. They sell them on Amazon for like $10. I don't know how far down the tube would need to go, but if it bypassed the tastebuds that would be very beneficial, you could just squeeze the syringe and it would go down your throat. I would only be concerned then about having it go down the windpipe on accident.

I would not mix the vet n with anything else as it would likely create a larger amount of garbage tasting substance. As others I believe have mentioned, they do that at assisted dying clinics but only with the powdered form (which doesn't have adulterants mixed in with it already).

Im in mexico now and it's hard to get without a veternarian certificate.

I'll enjoy every little drop of that nectar. As I've said before, I can't smell or taste (quite a big reason I'm going to ctb). I can neck a bottle of Vodka as it may as well be water... I can't see N any issue atall - except I won't wake up with the DT's.
