I've gone with mental illness, but I think age (18+ at the very least) should be a consideration and having made reasonable efforts at overcoming limitations. Most people here would still pass that test.

So long as I have no proof that this world is real and not just a momentary nightmare, so long I cannot allow anyone to not ctb for any reason. Or maybe this is hell or some other afterlife. Maybe we are killed to get here, and then we are born and get out. Or maybe this is all a VR game.
Even in a real real world, people should be free to ctb at any moment for any reason. Well, unless they're currently having sex and would make the other person a necrophile (jk), but otherwise, your life, your death. Especially if it isn't your life. I mean you didn't buy it or remember choosing it or have any legal documents to say you own that life. Maybe you stole it from someone? Can you even own a life?
Unless you have kids or a pet who has no one. Make sure kids and pets have caretakers first. I read of a woman who had a kid in her 40s then decided to ctb when the kid was really young. Like sheesh, couldn't have done that before trying new fads? You had forty years to ctb.
Someone might even be perfectly happy and healthy and still want to ctb for "science" and because they're just curious. Like opening a box.

The way I see it, we have the right to take our lives at any time of our choosing. I am completely pro choice. We did not ask to exist so we have no obligations to stay alive. We all deserve a right to die, an option of a peaceful way out.
Why shouldn't we be allowed to take our own lives?

Physician assisted medical suicide should be an option for anyone who meets the following criteria:
1) They are the age of majority where they live.
2) They understand that death is permanent and irreversible.
