Question about full suspension

Is 1cm thick plastic rope good? Should I use scarf or thin t-shirt on my neck? Is alcohol advisable? I read someone who attempted full suspension here recommending hangman noose and place at the back of the neck. What do you think?

for full suspension it's important that the rope has a high breaking load, much higher than your weight, otherwise the rope may break while you are unconscious.
