So I was reluctant to talk about this, but it's something that has been plaguing me. I suffer from intractable insomnia which has been resistant to all medication for roughly two years; exactly the time it's been since my stay in the psych ward. I do not sleep at all, not even a minute. During my time in the psych ward I felt this strange radiation or energy emanating from above my bed. The reason I went to the psych ward in the first place was because I was hearing voices that told me to go to the psych ward. If anything my voices are, they're rational. However, that makes me think that they were projected into my mind to lure me into the psych ward so that someone could use this radiation on me. I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out. I think it is extremely naive to think these types of weapons don't exist. I'm just posting this because I do not want to be silent about my experience anymore. You might think I'm schizophrenic, but try to think about this topic with a critical mind.

I think anything is possible and if you believe it that's all that matters. I've had strange things happen too. Not secret weapons used against me, I'm insignificant to everyone and everything. No one would waste their time on me that way.

But in your case maybe they have some reason for it. I believe you. I would be interested in hearing what that strange radiation projected at you from above your bed felt like.

After all, our embassy staff was all sent home from Cuba terribly sick from having sound waves that were below the range of human hearing projected at them every day.

Exactly.

It's difficult to describe how it felt. It felt like a swirling vortex of energy.

Some very odd ways of trying to harm people are being tested out. I may have been a guinea pig too.

I haven't heard voices since that time, but my insomnia is reoccurring every night. It is not just insomnia. I cannot sleep, not even a wink.

I understand the overall concept, but I don't quite understand the specifics here..

The person who wanted to use these weapons on you, would have had to find a way to get you to hear voices telling you to go to the place where the weapon had been laid?
Wouldn't it have been easier for them to just plant the weapon in your house or something? I can't see how anyone could make you hear voices, unless they were physically walking behind you whispering in your ear, then ducking whenever you turned around.

I'm so confused :aw:

Do you know if you were on the top floor? I mean the floor that was under the roof of the building? Or was there another floor above the one you were on? They put some unusual equipment on the roofs of buildings that do things to the people in the rooms below.
I cannot sleep, not even a wink.
You should get a sleep study done. Where you are in a hospital room all night hooked up to monitors with cameras watching you to see what's going on with you. I had that done.
Being sleep deprived does cause hallucinations by the way.

I don't know if there was a floor above me.

I know I don't sleep, because I'm wide awake all night, but I should get one done. I want to get an MRI, but I doubt the insurance will pay for that.

I honestly don't know how I'm alive from not sleeping as long as I have.

Melotonin works well for me and some people I know and it's not a drug. It's a natural substance.

Sleep is non-existent for me. I've tried melatonin, trazadone, valerian, you name it. It's totally resistant to any type of aid. It's like my brain is broken and can't initiate sleep which is why I believe I am the victim of psychotronic weapons.

I guess it's possible? But what reason would they have for targeting you with this obviously very advanced, top secret technology?

Also you can't not have slept at all in the last 2 years, sleep deprivation is fatal after around a week I think.

These are the signs of schizophrenia, nothing more.

I know it feels real, I had hallucinations of energy weapons directed at me too and back then wished people would believe me and I would not admit that I suffer from schizophrenia. But I stopped it because it's irrational and I'd advise you too.

That is the paranoid part of paranoid schizophrenia. In paranoia you think that a lot of attention is being focused on you when it isn't. Logically there would be no reason for all that effort and attention by a powerful group of people to spend the time and resources on you.

I'm not trying to dig the rabbit hole deeper, but if psychotropic weapons are real, being unimportant would probably make someone an ideal testing candidate. And sometimes sadism and a desire to control others is enough. Unimportant people get screwed over by self-imposing authority figures all the time.

Or if there is some kind of incorporeal or invisible alien presence on earth, or even a shadow government of humans, they probably have a much more complete picture of our causal interactions with each other than we do. Someone could raise a flag in their system, or they may have predicted a potential unfavorable event that's less likely to occur if they intervene and someone is taken out of the picture.

That assumes a lot about the nature of our reality and is likely implausible, but I also find that a relatively significant minority of the population suffering from the same or similar distinct flavors of hallucinations is pretty suspicious in and of itself. One percent doesn't sound like a lot until you realize that's one in a hundred people. That may speak to the times and common fears, as well as contagious thought, though, which at the very least points to a very unhealthy "society" that drives some people mad and others madder.

Personally I think the truth is somewhere in between. We already know that psychological warfare techniques utilizing uncommon technology have been overtly tested on unsuspecting individuals, and I think it's very likely that social engineering is being practiced en masse as well as selectively through the internet and media. For the rest the fear that it might happen may be enough. The common perception that certain perceptions are meant to be dismissed outright helps a lot in keeping such operations out of the public eye. It sounds schizophrenic of me to say but the whole concept of schizophrenia could be a cover in many cases, a label slapped on an ordinary mind torn to shreds through atypical thought, trauma and drug therapies. Although I know that there are genetic predispositions to it, the onset of schizophrenia is almost always linked to an event, often traumatic, after going through a protracted prodromal phase, instead of being truly spontaneous.

But hell, all it really takes is using post-hypnotic or ordinary suggestion to make someone think they're being targeted by weapons when really driving someone crazy is a much less sophisticated process that requires nothing more than a common language. Or maybe we're all being targeted by energy weapons and it's only by some fluke that some people become aware of it. Or maybe we're not being targeted by energy weapons and it's the brains metaphorical explanation for the fields created by modern technology.

There are a lot of possible explanations and reality is fucking terrifying. Sleep deprivation is one of the more likely ones in this case.

Exactly. It makes sense once you take your meds and think about it, but in the state of paranoia, you overestimate your own importance and make up conspiracy theories to underline your importance. I for example thought that the secret service is trying to recruit me because I was a master in decoding messages from television programs and newspaper. Very typical for schizophrenia...

Schizophrenia works different for different people. Some religious people think that they are chased by "demons", people who believe in aliens see "aliens", others see reptiloids or the illuminati, I saw the secret service. All have different stories but every of them have in common that their brain chemistry and waves is different from healthy individuals. Also, if you talk to a really persecuted person (like a journalist in China for example with a normal brain chemistry), what they talk about real persecution is very different from schizophrenic people, who hallucinate and have the feeling of mind-control.

Do you have any idea why the voices schizophrenic people hear tell them things like kill themselves, or berate them, curse them or other such nasty things? It seems to be a common theme, that the voices tell them to kill or hurt themselves.

I think aggressive pictures in the brain are getting more attention. When you say "A butterfly flew" it isn't that interesting for the brain, but when you say "stab him with a knife!", it immediately gets attention. But I don't know. Some people have gentle voices, or voices in a different language.
