Discussion Proposal: World Suicidal Person Day

I know this is quite daring, but why don't we have a special day for those with CTB ideas? So people with those ideas won't feel like they are the only ones.

I bet everyone from parents to school principals to politicians would shoot this down. But I like the idea, for what it's worth. If this proposal ever seriously came up, they'd take it over and turn it into something like "World Suicide Awareness (aka Prevention) Day."

I do agree that it would come under criticism if such a thing existed. I do think there should be a day, because after all we have the right to take our lives at any time of our choosing. Society should allow us a right to die and accept suicide as a rational option.

What a joke. Just yesterday, I attended this online lecture reviewing the studies over the past 30 years that progressively show a cause-effect relationship between poverty-and-deprivation and both depression and suicide. But like @ClownMe said, let's virtue-signal instead of attacking what research now confirms to be a major cause of mental illness and suicide.
