I would like to find out if there's a way to organize my funeral by myself before I die. I mean, I want my ashes simply scattered in nature, no ceremony, no attending people.
I would like to prepaid the service and in my last will I would order my ashes to get mailed to the company that would do the scattering. Is it possible? Any idea for a company or a location, country?

Planning your own funeral and specifying your desired arrangements, such as scattering your ashes in nature without a ceremony or attendees, is a unique and liberating choice. You can take control of the process by prepaying for the service and including detailed instructions in your last will and testament. Look for companies that offer nature-based scattering services, as they specialize in providing environmentally conscious options. Keep in mind that the availability and legality of such services may vary depending on your location and the regulations in place. Consider researching companies that align with your preferences and contacting them to discuss their offerings. Remember to consult with legal professionals to ensure your wishes are clearly documented and legally binding.

Depends on your country, you should be able to make a contract with a funeral home detailing your wishes and even prepay (contact some in your area, they will explain). You may need a third party or a lawyer.

Terramation is available in some US states for $7000.

I really have no idea, but I have wondered about this to an extent. ..

No matter how I'd request or... like my funeral to be it wouldn't matter to much with a Catholic family. Can't say that I blame them either, different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Thanks for sharing this, I wish you Nothing but the best.

Some people get their ashes dispersed from an airplane from like 2-3000 feet Just an idea I'm putting out there for you to consider. I've considered it myself. There are also a few companies that will send them to space

One company in the UK charges just under £3000 to release you at 100,000'. This one isn't exactly "space" but they claim you go all over the world

Have you Googled it? I want to pre-pay for my cremation with no service. I only did a brief search for 'pre-paid funerals' and lots comes up. I expect the choice will be specific to the country you are in.

From what I could see, there wasn't all that much about scattering the ashes. I expect most things will be accomodated- but- at a cost. I'd love for my ashes to be scattered into the sea- but, realistically- if that's going to cost a whole shit load more- I likely won't bother! It's not like (I believe) it will make any difference to me then- it's just a nice idea now.

I would like the same. This is possible in the EU (Netherlands €500,-) and Switzerland.
