I found this. I have severe congestion for 8 months and the timeline kinda lines up. I was traumatized before and hated my jaw, thought my sleep was wrong but due to BDD no one took it seriously and I have visitied like 5 ENTs now. If I sleep without this spray, I wake up every 2 hours with SEVEREEEEEE headaches. But this anxiety and urgency I feel is insane and I only feel "at peace" kinda at the end of the day. I need this to sleep though. I have tried neti pots, did an MRI, took cortisone spray, nothing yet helped. I dont feel like i can last another couple days in this panic state. Do you guys have any idea on how to proceed and proceed quickly?

Germany so free healthcare albeit shit

Sorry to hear. If I've interpreted your post correctly, you want to reduce your current spray and try something else,,,to reduce anxiety side effects.

There are new machines for nasal rinsing now: maybe that's what you need? I recommend Navage electrical nose cleaner. A game changer as it sucks shit out, I did it regularly and it's effective, but given up now as other health issues continue to worsen. I got mine in Canada so not sure if it ships to Europe : edit yes they do via website or apparently Amazon

You add salt sachets (special ones) to filtered water and rinse. You can also try adding drops of certain oils or stronger things if there's an infection, but research and try at your own risk. Other ideas for sinuses on Reddit..

Can you research and try out an alternative spray/rinse, and then gradually reduce your current one and start the new one.

If it's urgent, try reducing it now while you plan the replacement, and take sleeping aids in between?

Try these exercises before bed and regularly to try to calm the brain
Also recommend

Sorry if scattered my brain is operating low capacity. Just my ideas and not medical advice
