originally planned on CTBing on the 15th, my birthday, but my partner snitched and now i'm still alive, in grippy socks jail. lord knows if i'll ever get out. they want to give me ECT for my 'treatment resistant refractory depression', which is how psychiatrists say psychiatry is a scam and my 'depression' is caused by my material circumstances, not my brain chemistry.

you should tell them you are feeling a lot better now and have zero suicidal ideation. you should get off of this website in case they check your phone. start acting happier and get yourself out of there. you can do this

you honestly just have to fake it till you make it. i got out the psych ward by acting perfect and saying it was just an impulsive thought and listed off random stuff that i was grateful for and that i wanted to stay. performed a false smile and once my hold was up i was able to go

omg, please be careful with ect, for so many people, it leaves them with permanent memory deficits.

survival instinct is hard to overcome, many people who want to commit suicide end up living a long time or failing attempts

ect is forever

sometimes when people are in involuntary commitment, they pressure them to do ect: we won't let you out until you start ect here.

or at least look up all the horrible memory problems people get! doctors lie and say it's usually temporary but if you check online, a lot of people say it's not. It does not seem to be a small percent to me, I don't have data, but it's a lot of people who have memory issues after ECT, a lot. just please check online about ect and don't take their word on memory and ect. they lie, they lie just like they did about lobotomies, they are liars.
