Idk how accurate these tests are, I tend to be pretty pessimistic when taking quizzes.
Same, on both counts. I question how accurate one's self-perception is. Especially with the Intellect/Imagination dimension; wouldn't most of us like to conceive of ourselves as "having good ideas" or "having an advanced vocabulary", even though those things are ultimately relative?
Like, is the percentile score telling you how intelligent/imaginative you are relative to everyone else, or how high your self-esteem is (in that dimension) relative to everyone else?
The methodology used to derive the framework involved seeing that self-evaluations correlated with evaluations done by acquaintances, but I'm not sure if that group is representative of
contemporary people, or the membership here… iirc that study was done decades ago, and cultural values and median self-esteem could easily have changed since.
