Hello everyone,

I think I found a pretty effective exercise on overcoming SI: fasting! Let me explain

For anyone who have tried to fast, it sure hard to do especially any longer then a day, why be use of SI. It knows that going without eating at least once is dangerous and scary because the body thinks there may be a famine on the way. So the body compels you to search for food.

if you practice overcoming that urge to eat for about 2 days of fasting, you will find it easier to do hard things even ctb.

of course this is what I think could help to overcome SI. Anyone else got any other ideas for overcoming SI?

Of course I don't really know as I'm still existing, but I think that a lot of people who ctb just got desperate enough and went through with it. Life brought them to that point and the suffering they were going through allowed them to overcome any fears/SI.

After 3 days it's easy.

Alcohol and benzos are my solution for SI. My diet is piss poor I rarely eat as it is, who knows maybe it's helping my SI but I take it as far as it can go already lol

I was told I shouldn't fast longer than 8 hours prior to initiating my chosen method, so unfortunately this option isn't available to me. Although I'd love to. And I agree. I've accomplished a couple 6 days fasts over the past few months and yes, I'm very miserable and ready to make an exit. I would also take massive amounts of energy supplements and kratom on an empty stomach then quit after 3 to 4 days to let my body crash and experience withdrawal. It literally obliterates SI.

My SI is up and down but consistently so, like Groundhog Day. I'm going to use it to my advantage and pick my most difficult time of day when it's the lowest, to ctb.

Easy in the sense that you're past the hunger pangs. But the dizziness and lack of energy sets in hard too though.
Never happened to me. I guess everyone is different. I felt great and had more energy than I had eating. I was walking 3-6 miles daily. Doing Yoga. Breathwork. Sleeping only 4 hours a night.
I went 23 days with water & 6 days dry fasting.
